Introduction

Seachem Pond pH Buffer is a non-phosphate buffering system designed to raise and stabilize pH in decorative ponds. It is ideal for planted ponds containing koi, goldfish, and other pond fish, as it does not promote algae growth and remains completely non-eutrophic. This buffer is especially effective in liner ponds, where pH tends to drop over time. It maintains pond water within a safe buffering range of 7.2 – 8.2, with a preferred stabilization range of 7.4 – 7.6.
