The Reptile Reflector Single T8 is a high-quality fluorescent light fixture designed to provide reptiles and amphibians with essential lighting for their health and well-being. Built with a polished reflector, this unit maximizes light output and efficiency, ensuring optimal UVB penetration for your pets. It is suitable for use with T8 fluorescent tubes and is perfect for enclosures requiring reliable UVB and visible light.
Efficient Reflector Design: Polished reflector increases light output and directs it into the enclosure for maximum UVB effectiveness.
Supports Reptile Health: When used with UVB T8 tubes, it promotes vitamin D3 synthesis, calcium absorption, and overall reptile vitality.
Durable Construction: Built with quality materials to provide long-lasting performance in reptile habitats.
Easy Installation: Simple to set up and secure within or above the enclosure.
Versatile Use: Suitable for a variety of reptiles and amphibians requiring UVB exposure.
Install the fixture in or above the enclosure, ensuring the reflector directs light into the habitat.
Use with the correct T8 UVB fluorescent tube for your species’ needs (sold separately).
Position according to the recommended distance for optimal UVB exposure.
Connect to a suitable power source and use a timer to simulate natural day/night cycles.
Replace UVB tubes every 6–12 months, even if they still emit visible light, as UVB output diminishes over time.
Use in combination with a heat source (ceramic heat emitter or basking lamp) to provide both heat and UVB.
Regularly monitor UVB levels with a UVB meter for optimal reptile care.
Ideal for reptiles such as bearded dragons, turtles, uromastyx, and other UVB-dependent species.
