Introduction

PolypLab Reef Safe Medic is a powerful, reef-safe water conditioner for marine and freshwater aquariums, specifically formulated to combat external fish parasites like Marine Ich, Freshwater Ich, and Marine Velvet. Its buffered, invertebrate-friendly formula ensures safety for sensitive corals and beneficial bacteria, making it an effective yet gentle solution for parasite management.

How It Works
Medic targets parasites during the most vulnerable stages of their life cycle:

• Trophonts (attached stage)

• Theronts/Dinospores (free-swimming stage)

By attacking parasites both when attached to the host and during the critical hatching stage, Medic disrupts the infestation cycle more effectively than treatments focusing on only one phase.

Usage

• Standard Dose: 1 level scoop per 190L (50 gallons) twice daily.

• Severe Infestations: 3 level scoops per 190L (50 gallons), morning and evening.

• Duration: Minimum 10 days, maximum 20 days.

Notes:

• Do not use ozone or carbon during treatment.

• Protein skimmers may be run as normal.

• UV filters can be turned on 1 hour after dosing.

• Continue dosing even after visible spots disappear.

• After treatment, run granular activated carbon for 2–3 days to clear residuals.
