Master Soil Black is a high-quality active substrate designed to create optimal conditions for planted aquariums and shrimp tanks. Made from natural materials, it promotes healthy plant growth, supports stable water chemistry, and enhances the visual appeal of aquascapes. With multiple granule sizes and bag options, it caters to various aquarium setups and aquascaping needs.
Natural & Nutrient-Rich: Provides essential minerals that promote healthy root development and vibrant plant growth.
Water Conditioning: Helps lower and stabilize pH and KH, creating slightly acidic conditions preferred by freshwater plants, fish, and shrimp.
Porous Structure: Encourages beneficial bacterial growth, improving biological filtration and overall tank stability.
Variety of Grain Sizes: Available in multiple types to suit different aquascaping styles and plant requirements.
Aesthetic Black Tone: Deep black coloration creates strong contrast, making plants and shrimp stand out beautifully.
Preparation: Avoid excessive rinsing to preserve nutrients; lightly rinse only if needed to remove loose dust.
Placement: Spread evenly across the aquarium base, using a depth of 4–6 cm for most planted setups.
Planting: Insert roots directly into the substrate for strong anchorage and nutrient uptake.
Maintenance: Perform regular water changes, especially in the first few weeks, to stabilize water parameters.
Bag Sizes: 3L and 8L
Granule Options:
Super Powder (1–2mm): Best for delicate root systems, carpeting plants, and foreground layouts.
Powder (2.5–3mm): Ideal for general planted aquariums and fine root penetration.
Normal (4–5mm): Suitable for larger plants, root-heavy species, and hardscape-heavy aquascapes.
Ideal for planted aquariums, aquascapers, and shrimp breeders seeking stable and nutrient-rich substrate.
Choose granule size based on plant type and aquascaping design (e.g., super powder for carpets, normal for larger plants).
For high-demand setups, combine with liquid fertilizers or root tabs to maximize growth potential.
