Directions & Dosage

Adjustment Dosage:

• Shake well before use.

• Test alkalinity before dosing.

• 1 mL raises alkalinity by 2.1 dKH (0.75 meq/L) per 1 US gallon (3.78 L).

• 5 mL (1 tsp) increases alkalinity by 1.06 dKH (0.38 meq/L) per 10 US gallons.

• Do not exceed 5 mL per 10 gallons daily.

• Avoid pH changes greater than ±0.2 at once.

Routine Dosing:

• Shake well before each use.

• Ensure alkalinity is within 8–11 dKH before starting.

• Begin with 5 mL (1 tsp) of Pt 1 and Pt 2 per 20 gallons daily.

• Test daily and adjust dose to maintain target alkalinity range.

• Increase dosing in systems with high coral calcification rates (e.g., SPS-dominant tanks).
