Usage Instructions

1. Increase Oxygenation:

   • Use an air pump and airstone to boost oxygen levels. Adequate aeration is critical during treatment.

2. Turn Off Specific Equipment:

   • Disable UV sterilizers and ozonizers.

   • Remove chemical filtration (e.g., Chemi-pure, carbon, resins).

3. Maintain Water Flow:

   • Keep pumps and powerheads running to ensure circulation.

   • Use a protein skimmer (remove or raise the collection cup to prevent overflow).

4. Dosing:

   • Add 1 level scoop per 10 U.S. gallons (38 liters) of aquarium water. Adjust for actual water volume after accounting for displacement from rocks, substrate, and equipment.

5. Treatment Time:

   • Allow the treatment to run for up to 48 hours.

6. Post-Treatment Care:

   • Perform a 20% water change.

   • Reinstall UV sterilizers, ozonizers, and chemical filtration media.

   • Repeat the treatment after a water change if signs of cyanobacteria remain.
