Designed for advanced reef aquarists, the probiotic method creates an Ultra Low Nutrient System (ULNS). By reducing nitrates and phosphates, it promotes ultra-clean water conditions that enhance coral growth and coloration. This method requires:
A powerful protein skimmer
Strong water circulation
Regular water testing
Precise dosing of amino acids, vitamins, and coral foods to prevent starvation
Use RO/DI water in a clean container.
Add 1 kg (2.2 lbs) of Probiotic Reef Salt per 26 liters (7 gallons) of water to achieve 33 ppt salinity.
Stir vigorously until the mixture is fully dissolved and clear.
Check salinity with a refractometer.
Heat the prepared saltwater to match your aquarium temperature for best results.
Use immediately — fully mixed water is ready for your reef system.
