Aquaforest Iron

A highly concentrated iron supplement developed for reef aquariums. Iron is an essential micronutrient utilized by corals and sea anemones, and consistent, balanced dosing helps enhance their vivid green pigmentation. Since iron is crucial for photosynthesis, regular supplementation supports improved coral nutrition and overall health. It is particularly effective for intensifying the green hues of Acropora and other SPS corals.

Dosage: Add 1 drop per 100 liters (27 US gal) daily. The recommended iron concentration in reef tanks is 0.006–0.012 mg/l (ppm). Dosing 1 ml of Iron (approximately 15 drops) in 100 liters (27 US gal) increases the iron level by about 0.005 ppm (5 μg/l). Keep in mind that every aquarium is unique, so actual dosing may vary depending on coral density and individual system demands.
