Aquaforest Bio Sand is a natural white substrate with a fine grain size of 0.5–1.5 mm, enriched with live, lab-grown nitrifying bacteria to speed up the nitrogen cycle and help new aquariums mature faster. Free from contaminants, its calcium carbonate composition supports stable water parameters. Each pack includes two bottles of bacteria and a nutrient solution to activate the process.

How to Use

1. Rinse the sand with RODI water to reduce cloudiness.

2. Mix the two included bacteria bottles with 3 liters of saltwater.

3. Add this mixture directly into the sand bag.

4. Keep the open bag at 25–28°C for 24 hours to allow bacterial growth.

5. After 24 hours, the sand is ready to be placed in your aquarium.
